Start a New Career, Make a Huge Difference

Hello! You must be a person of color who has an interest and passion for social justice work!

You’ve come to the right place. Let us tell you a little bit about Rainier Valley Corps’ two Fellowship Programs:

We believes that communities of color grow stronger when leaders of color placed within these communities are supported, cultivated, and grown.

That is what our Community Impact Fellowship and Green Pathways Fellowships are all about. These are two programs that find potential leaders of color LIKE YOU — then we train them, mentor them, and place them in different organizations, with the aim of amplifying voices of color.

Our Fellows apply for a full-time, two-year position just like applying for a job. If accepted, our Fellows are paid a competitive living wage (more than $21/hr) and are also compensated with a generous benefits package.

We are looking for passionate people with open minds and giving hearts. Is that you?

So these two programs are a little bit different from each other. Here is a little bit of information about them. One track may be more appropriate for you, or maybe both tracks are relevant! You can apply to both!

This program places Fellows of color in local grassroots organizations led by communities of color. If you are interested in growing a career in the nonprofit field, check out our Community Impact Fellowship.

This program places Fellows of color in entry-level positions in environmental organizations. If you are interested in growing a career in the green sector, check out our Green Pathways Fellowship.
