Another big round of applause to Seattle drag icon Aleksa Manila (s/he/siya) and RVC co-ED Roshni Sampath (she/her), for being fabulous hosts! 🎤 We are also grateful to all of the other vendors and partners who came through to be part of an amazing program and to table at the event.
- ✨ Live DJ – Seattle-based musician JusMoni was spinning tracks to keep the vibes flowing
- ✨ Face painting provided by Playful Palette!
- ✨ Antojitos Lita Rosita, El Xalal Tacos, and Dayo Sense for event catering!
For some new folks, we also got a chance to introduce ourselves! RVC is here to back some of the best BIPOC-led and -serving movements in Seattle and South King County.
We know that so many communities of color have some of the best solutions to some of our hardest issues in society, but face big barriers when entering the non-profit sector. RVC supports the capacity of these leaders and organizations of color that take on these big challenges. We see our role as a support, thought partners, problem solvers, and coaches with our partners as they build thriving organizations in our local ecosystem.
