Champions to Changemakers Annual Fund

RVC Changemakers believe that leadership development and capacity building in communities of color should be spearheaded by the individuals working within these communities. By contributing to the Annual Fund, RVC Changemakers push for social change on the ground level, for those who need and deserve it most. As a supporter of this fund, supporters will receive special updates on our programs, invites to volunteer opportunities, tickets to our Board Reception, recognition in our Annual Report, and more.

Join the Unicorn Giving Club

Unicorn Giving Club members are those who give $25 (or more) on a monthly basis. The Unicorn Giving Club benefits our programs, especially the Community Impact Fellowship! When you become a club member, you help us support lunch-and-learns for our Fellows, giving them meaningful opportunities to strengthen their leadership skills.

Donate with company matching, stocks, and other securities

One of the most advantageous ways to contribute to RVC is via a gift of stock, or other securities, such as bonds or mutual funds. The total value of your gift is tax-deductible provided it has been held for at least one year, and there is no obligation to pay any capital gains tax on the appreciated value. Reach out to [email protected] for more information.

Volunteer your time

We have many community events planned throughout the year and we are always in need of volunteers to help our events go smoothly. Please email [email protected] to be put on our Volunteers Mailing list so we can contact you for our next event!

Become a mentor

Our mentorship program supports RVC Fellows during their two-year placement at a community-based organization through pairing them one-on-one with mentors. Mentors model leadership qualities, explore and discuss community and cultural dynamics, and will guide Fellows to reach their personal or professional goals.

Each mentor gets matched with a Fellow at the beginning of the cohort year and meets monthly with their Fellow to complement RVC’s formal meetings.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for next year.
