Seattle Against War (SAW), Bil-yad, and Nidal are working together to muster as many organizations, groups, and community members to act in this vital moment when as many as half a million Palestinians are in catastrophic famine conditions from an intentional starvation campaign perpetrated by the U.S. and Israel.
As if the siege was not enough, the IOF is now preparing an offensive to occupy the entire Gaza Strip. And, in defiance of international law, they continue to assassinate journalists (including five Al Jazeera staff just yesterday). But they no longer can hide the truth of their intent all along to ethnically cleanse Gaza!
We recognize that many folks in the U.S. have felt disempowered as our government is not only complicit in the continuing genocide but are actively invested in it, and that the Trump administration has only doubled down on repressing our voices. But it has never been clearer that we have a moral obligation to speak up and act as a powerful collective that refuses normalization of genocide! There are legal wins, successful divestment campaigns, effective direct actions, and massive protests that are not being captured by a biased mainstream media. Let us work together to hold the largest march in Seattle in months to make sure that the massive public support for Palestinian liberation is impossible to ignore! Stop business as usual! END THE SIEGE ON GAZA!
