As you may have heard, our wonderful founding Executive Director, Vu Le, has retired from RVC, closing out his time at the hilarious Vu’s Vegan Roast event on February 22nd
On Saturday, Feb. 22, RVC sent off its founding Executive Director, Vu Le, in style. Vu’s Vegan Roast took place at the Seattle Aquarium and featured guest speakers, Vu’s good friends who shed some light on who the real Vu is, as well as a dessert dash and raffle drawings
“With the support of RVC, we’ve started mapping out our overarching work and documenting the process. We’re now thinking about what our organization and our work is going to look like three years from now, and then five years from now,”
On Nov. 7, RVC hosted a gathering at Element 79 in Seattle. This gathering brought together community members with RVC staff so that everyone could get an update from Green Pathways Program Manager Florence Sum about the outcomes and lessons learned from this new pilot program so far!
Mujer al Volante, Superacion Constante (MAV), which translates to “Women Driving, Women Advancing,” is the first program within Seattle’s Latinx community that encourages and supports women to learn how to drive. The aim, effectively, is two-fold.
RVC is currently learning a lot about and working with our third cohort of our Community Impact Fellowship Program! This is our longest-running program, and we can’t believe we’re on our third cohort!
