Osca (she/her) was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa. She developed values around service and social justice, long before she had language for it, from witnessing her parents’ involvement in humanitarian and environmental justice work, and the many different forms it took. With a formal background in Anthropology and International studies, she is particularly fascinated by the ways people and cultures intersect, and finding accommodations that prioritize the holistic well-being of individuals and communities. Her favourite part of the job is the exposure to different communities and issues she might not otherwise have engaged with or learnt about, which supports her ability to live out and refine her values. She is passionate about supporting communities in clarifying and achieving goals for themselves. Lately, you can find her outside of work gardening, knitting, sewing, writing essays, and occasionally engaging in delicious kitchen experiments. She aspires to be adopted as someone’s doting grandma.
