RECRUITMENT FOR OUR 2015-2016 FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM HAS ENDED. PLEASE VISIT THE COMMUNITY IMPACT FELLOWSHIP PAGE FOR MORE UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION.
The Rainier Valley Corps Fellowship Program develops, supports, and activates emerging leaders of color by placing them in community organizations. There, they can take on critical work to strengthen Rainier Valley and organizations of color while receiving financial support and professional development from Rainier Valley Corps. As an RVC fellow, you’ll work hand in hand with community leaders on real problems, building skills, connections, and experiences that will propel you forward in a non-profit career that will drive social change and community impact.
RVC Fellows will work in Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) located in the Rainier Valley. Each RVC Fellow will be matched with a local CBO and work in their offices. Because the program is focused on arming Fellows with organizational leadership and skills, work will focus on the organization’s capacity and community building efforts. The RVC Fellowship is a paid position.
During the fellowship, which will last from September 2015 until August 2016, all RVC Fellows will receive ongoing training, support, and mentorship from RVC to further develop their leadership capacity, knowledge of non-profit management, capacity building, advocacy, and community dynamics.
RVC plans to select up to ten Fellows for this cohort. Please see this page: https://rvcseattle.org/communityimpact for additional information. Thank you!
